Dear 5th Graders,
Great job on your in-class first person presentations! You really showed your creativity and each of you taught us so much about who the early explorers were and what caused them to become adventureres. Many of you connected that learning by creating posters, powerpoints, essays and brochures on inspiring modern day explorers too. For this last part of November, we are going to bring all of our learning together and create original question and answer games about many of the early explorers. What a great way to test our learning and show-off our creativity!
Last week we continued our explorer research and began writing questions and answers for our games. You also spent time developing your game concept. This week you will create your games, and on Friday and after the break we will have time to play the games. The games will be evaluated against a four-point rubric considering many of our 21st Century Skills: creativity and innovation, collboration and communication, and producitivty and accountability. I look forward to seeing your fabulous creations.
