Week of December 13, 2010
Dear 5th Graders and Families,
This week we will finish our life in colonial America unit. We will continue to build our villages, write in our journals, and practice our 21st Century Skills. We will also have a quiz on the states and capitals in the Southeast region. Students have these states written in their social studies journals, and they can also go to the homework tab for online practice.
On Thursday we will participate in the Candy Cane Run. And, on Friday during block one we will have our potluck breakfast and open house. We hope to see you there. Please remember that winter break starts next Monday, 12/20 and school will resume on 1/3. Have a wonderful break and happy holidays to you!
